In addition to better supporting customers in these regions, this agreement reflects the two organizations shared commitment to bringing advanced chromatography products to help separation scientists and process engineers.
Carlo Dessy, Managing Director of TESTA Analytical commented "Flow rate is one of the most important parameters in any liquid chromatography system, it determines retention time or volume and has by nature a major influence on reproducibility. Over the last 3 years we have introduced flowmeters optimized for preparative, analytical and microscale applications. We are delighted to partner with MAZET & Co, who have an outstanding record of supporting laboratories with advanced chromatography and analytical technologies".
Managing Director of MAZET & Co – Farokh Mazet said "Following extensive testing by selected customers we have identified growing demand for reliable, high-precision flow measurement solutions that help laboratories improve performance and compliance. We are very happy about this collaboration and look forward to achieving shared success in the market".
Covering the flow rate range of 1 to 650 ml/min, the Prep Flowmeter sets a new standard for continuous, non-invasive monitoring of liquid flow rates in preparative liquid chromatography and downstream processing systems. The device utilizes a thermal flow sensor and a proprietary algorithm to convert temperature differences into flow rate measurements.
Compact in size, and conveniently powered via a USB connection, the Liquid Chromatography Flowmeter uses a thermal flow sensor that is extremely accurate, sensitive, and high-resolution, as well as non-invasive. As the sensor does not interfere with the measurement it can operate over a wide dynamic range and has been demonstrated to be the perfect real-time flow monitoring tool for liquid chromatography applications including calibrating the flow rate of HPLC pumps, troubleshooting defective systems, and continuous validation of instrumental operation and performance.
